Where is loyalty to loyal Lurtsema?

To the Editor of THE BERKSHIRE EAGLE:-
So, Alan Chartock thinks Robert J. Lurtsema ". . .knows more about classical music than anyone we know. . .but now it's time to move [him] on."

In his tribute to Lurtsema, Chartock said, "Lurtsema's loyalty and excellence was the single factor that made this station [WAMC] swim upstream."

Doesn't WAMC owe some of that same loyalty to Lurtsema?
